We work hand in hand with our customers from the beginning. After the development of a concept, CAD models are used to complete all design capabilities with our in-house designer. Once the design is approved by the customer, it heads into our shop for manufacturing, assembly and testing of the final product. We take pride in the details of our workmanship which is backed by our guarantee.
The high standards of quality we have for our fixtures, allows our customers to have assurance and product consistency with every project we complete for them
The Process
Idea To Delivery
Customer Part File The customer explains the needs, tools or machines to perform an operation at their location. They will supply us with a part file along with the requirements of what they need accomplished
Concept Our designer takes the information from the customer and creates a concept. Once the customer approves the concept, our designer creates the needed blueprints via Key Creator for the machinists to manufacture the fixture.
Build Our machinists cut to machine the needed parts to size and assemble the fixture as per the blueprints.
Quality & Function Review Once the fixture is completely assembled, the machinist will test the fixture with the customers parts (if available) to make sure it is properly working and make any adjustments if needed.
Final Product After the fixture is inspected and works correctly we have the final product.
Delivery We will personally deliver the completed fixture to the customer. If we are unable to deliver the product, we will make shipping arrangements with the customer to make sure they receive it in a timely manner.
Our Guarantee We stand by the quality of our work and if something malfunctions or needs adjustments, we will correct the issue immediately.
HISTORY
Lindor Tool's success came about from the hard drive and determination of Tom Johnson. Tom's knowledge for the industry started when he worked for his parents machine shop in Milltown, WI. He knew in order to gain additional experience he had to explore outside of his parents business. It was during this time in the early 80's, he worked days for Century Tool in MN and freelanced night's in his home garage as a regular job shop, machining parts per print. It wasn't until '86 when Lindor Tool had it's first commercial building where the production of 2nd Op fixtures and tooling came about for the plastic molding industries in the surrounding area's. As the business expanded, so did our services. We ventured into operated assisted assembly fixtures using Pneumatics with PLC Logic controllers. By the mid 90's, we began designing and building manual & hydraulic clamping fixtures for machining die cast aluminum parts, used in vertical and horizontal machining centers.
As the company grew so did our business operations. During the 2000's Tom's nephew Jason came on board as our CAD designer and Tom's son Nick started working as a machinist who is now the shop manager. Both Jason and Nick attended Northwood Technical College (formerly WITC) to learn there trades. By 2012 his daughter Shawntelle moved back to Wisconsin and took over as Administrator. Her managerial experience from AT&T and Waste Management helped revamp Lindor Tool's business operations.
